When you use Life OS, we collect information you provide directly:

• Account data: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials (or Google OAuth profile).
• Life domain data: Scores, goals, notes, and other information you enter across the 10 life domains during onboarding and daily use.
• Usage data: Interaction patterns with the dashboard, features used, and session information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide and personalize the Life OS experience.
• Generate AI-powered insights, nudges, and pattern detection.
• Send you notifications and weekly reviews you've opted into.
• Improve the product and fix issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and JWT-based authentication. Access to your data is limited to you and authorized administrators.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth: For sign-in authentication (we receive your email and profile name).
• Anthropic (Claude AI): To power conversational AI features. Your prompts are processed but not stored by Anthropic for training.
• Render: Cloud hosting infrastructure.

5. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account from the Settings page.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: an authentication token (httpOnly, secure) and a CSRF protection cookie. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
